Strawberry Nails

Here comes day 20 of the #Nailartmay challenge on Instagram: Strawberry Nails.
I started with painting all fingers red, then did my first glitter gradient ever! What do you think? :)
And then painted the green "leaves" on the strawberries. I also used some strawberry fimo cane sticks that I bought earlier this year from Thailand. Also that a first timer!
I like the result, especially the glitter gradient, and it looks so much better in real life.

Oh, and I know, when I took the pictures I still hadn't cleaned up the mess on my fingers, therefore some red paint under my thumb etc...

#Nailartmay on Istagram. Day One!

Hi lovely ladies! I hope you've had a great start on May! :) Feels like April just started, time's flying past.
But back to the nails on top. @Californails on instagram is each month hosting a Nail Art Challenge. Any nail art enthusiast understands the fun of it, right? So every 2/3 days there's a different theme for nail art and then you just have to try to finish as many of the themes as possible. Oh, and hash-tag them #nailartmay.
But anyways, this months first challenge was flowers, so here we go, a lot of spring time colored flowers on my nails! :)
So this month you'll all get to follow my nail art through this challenge.

Wine-red nails with simple white flower

Hi! For this manicure I used one of my favourite nail polishes at the moment, nr 33 Sensual Glam/ Lumoojatar by Lumene. I just think wine-red nail polish looks so good in the winter! Then I just did a very simple and easy white and golden flower.. And done!
I hope you like it.

Sailor nails

Summer's here and I'm really excited! This is a summerish, super-easy sailor nail art design. Plus, it goes really well with both short and long nails. I've used a Bundle Monster plate for the anchors and then I've done the blue and white stripes on the thumbs by hand. I hope you'all are enjoying the lovely summer weather and your holidays! :)

Berrylicious!

I made this nail design with strawberries and grapes using Konad nail art plates. They are extremely easy to use and it doesen't require a lot of time either. I bought my first Konad nail art plates, polishes, scraper, and stamper about half a year ago, and I'm hooked! Before that I did all my nail designs using thin art brushes (that are actually meant for painting) and regular nail polish. That way you get more original nails but it requirers a lot of time. So nowadays I use both methods. :)
