Tribal Nails

Hi everyone! I hope you're enjoying your summer holidays!
This is my nails atm. On top is my left hand (painted with my right one... SO MUCH prettier than the other one) But at least you get to see both hands this time LOL. I've been wanting to try this tribal/ Aztec theme for a long time actually. I think it's so cute and summerish.

Green and white flower nails

Hello ladies! Here comes today's nail art. Just like my past two posts it's a part of this #Nailartmay challenge on Instagram. The challenge was to match your outfit of the day. On the last picture you can see a little bit of the skirt I was wearing.. And matching with a white top.

Therefore: Green/ white flower manicure today. I really like the result this time! :)
What do you guys think? Yay or nay?

Polishes I've used (from left to right):
LUMENE Natural Code - nr 10 Bohemian
LUMENE Natural Code - nr 9 Fairytale
LUMENE Gloss & Care - nr 23 Blueness
Isa Dora - nr 603 Tip White

#Nailartmay on Istagram. Day One!

Hi lovely ladies! I hope you've had a great start on May! :) Feels like April just started, time's flying past.
But back to the nails on top. @Californails on instagram is each month hosting a Nail Art Challenge. Any nail art enthusiast understands the fun of it, right? So every 2/3 days there's a different theme for nail art and then you just have to try to finish as many of the themes as possible. Oh, and hash-tag them #nailartmay.
But anyways, this months first challenge was flowers, so here we go, a lot of spring time colored flowers on my nails! :)
So this month you'll all get to follow my nail art through this challenge.

Cross nails using micro beads

Hi everyone! This is my first attempt using micro beads. I bought them from a Nail art shop in Thailand. Placing them was easier than I'd expected but I noticed that I've already lost some of them and I did my nails yesterday. Do you have any personal tips on how to get them to last longer?

The light mint-green polish is from a market in Thailand and the blue one I've used for the dots and crosses is by H&M.

Sparkle + cracked nails

My holiday nails (vol 1)! I'm now on holiday in Finland whohoo. :) It's been awesome so far! More nail posts will come these two weeks here, for sure.

This one is really simple to do, first you paint your whole nails golden (or in any other color). Then you paint the blue part, let it dry, and put on cracked nail polish on the blue part of the nail. Simple as that! :D

Have a good day, and happy polishing!

Blue nails with red flowers

So, this is a quite simple nail design.. Just some blue nail polish as a base and then some red handmade flowers on top. First I did the whole flower in dark red and then I added some light pink in the middle and after that some darker spots in the middle.

Have a good night everyone!

Vacation nails

For this nail design my inspiration was a vacation by the beach at some warm and sunny place. All designs except for the butterflies are hand made. (for the butterflies I've used Konad stamps) The ice cream canes are my personal favourites because they look fresh and cute. I'm not that pleased with the sun block bottels though, because the yellow flowers on the bottels don't stand out enough... And even less on the pictures than in reality. I hope you'all are enjoying your summer holidays!

Blue and white stamping nail art

This is my newest nail art design, which I did today. I've used a Bundle Monster plate (BM11) and a white Konad Nail Polish. And believe me or not, the bright blue nail polish is actually a really cheap one from H&M! It's quality is a lot better than I expected, since it only costs like 3,95 €. And I just love the color! :)

Sailor nails

Summer's here and I'm really excited! This is a summerish, super-easy sailor nail art design. Plus, it goes really well with both short and long nails. I've used a Bundle Monster plate for the anchors and then I've done the blue and white stripes on the thumbs by hand. I hope you'all are enjoying the lovely summer weather and your holidays! :)

Graaauh!

I've been super busy, so I haven't had time to upload these pictures.. I actually did these leopard designs last week. :) I've done them freehand and I think they are quite cute! I'm totally loving all the leopard prints that you see this spring! Enjoy! :)

Blue french tip

This is a blue french manicure that I did today. First I applied a nude nail polish and then the blue one as a french tip. Then I drew a green glittery line in between the nude and the blue/white design.

A passion for Ed Hardy

This is a nail design that I did quite a long time ago. The nail art is done freehand and was before I had any Konad stamping plates. So I've used various nail polishes and art brushes. I'm really happy with the resoult and I loved those nails! And I really love Ed Hardy! :) And sorry, I know the picture is really blurry and the quality isn't good!
