Tribal Nails

Hi everyone! I hope you're enjoying your summer holidays!
This is my nails atm. On top is my left hand (painted with my right one... SO MUCH prettier than the other one) But at least you get to see both hands this time LOL. I've been wanting to try this tribal/ Aztec theme for a long time actually. I think it's so cute and summerish.

Green Ikat Nails

Hi lovelies!
I finally gave Ikat nails a try, and I really like it! :) Sorry for the not-so-good pictures... The weather has been awful today in Finland! Rainy and the sky is really grey, so there's no good light for nail art pics outside. So I took these pics inside instead but my hands look really pink and pale. They're actually really tan! Well at least the nail polishes turned out in their real colors, and that's the most important after all!

I haven't used any fancy nail polish brands for this design.. The dark green is from a market in Thailand and the light green is by H&M.

Green and white flower nails

Hello ladies! Here comes today's nail art. Just like my past two posts it's a part of this #Nailartmay challenge on Instagram. The challenge was to match your outfit of the day. On the last picture you can see a little bit of the skirt I was wearing.. And matching with a white top.

Therefore: Green/ white flower manicure today. I really like the result this time! :)
What do you guys think? Yay or nay?

Polishes I've used (from left to right):
LUMENE Natural Code - nr 10 Bohemian
LUMENE Natural Code - nr 9 Fairytale
LUMENE Gloss & Care - nr 23 Blueness
Isa Dora - nr 603 Tip White

#Nailartmay on Istagram. Day One!

Hi lovely ladies! I hope you've had a great start on May! :) Feels like April just started, time's flying past.
But back to the nails on top. @Californails on instagram is each month hosting a Nail Art Challenge. Any nail art enthusiast understands the fun of it, right? So every 2/3 days there's a different theme for nail art and then you just have to try to finish as many of the themes as possible. Oh, and hash-tag them #nailartmay.
But anyways, this months first challenge was flowers, so here we go, a lot of spring time colored flowers on my nails! :)
So this month you'll all get to follow my nail art through this challenge.

Spring Nails: stamping + cracked

I've been fighting for ages (it feels like at least) to get these pictures uploaded. My internet usually isn't that good down here but it hasn't been this bad. Well anyhow, here's some pictures from one of my latest manicures. I've used green/ yellowish nail polish as a base and then I've stamped some pink hearts on top and after that I've used a cracked nail polish at my nail tips.
I hope you like it! :)

Green/ yellow nail art

Here's some green-yellowish spring nail designs. The one with the kiwis is done freehand, and for the one with flowers I've used a Konad plate (m51). I've also used golden glitter for the flower nail design.

Green and white flower nails

This is a summery, green and white nail design. First I applied the light green Lumene Natural Code nail polish (28 Spring meadow, limited edition, 2nd from the right on the picture). Then I did a white french tip using  the Mavala nail polish (nr. 49) and after that I stamped on the flower design with green Konad special nail polish (nr. 21). Then I applied a golden glittery striper between thw light green and the french tip, but I wasn't happy with the resault so I applied turquoise striper (by Nail Star) on top of it.
